It has come to our attention that we have some very young visitors coming here, young and pre-teen children.
Though we are not legally repsonsible (our site states that you must be 13 or older to register) for what you post or what a registered user reads here we still feel morally responsible because we have been made aware that young people ARE reading so based on that fact we've decided to create some tougher rules about what can and can't be posted.
The basic rule of thumb is, if you wouldn't see it on the show, you shouldn't post it in the fic. This means smut (eg. graphic sex scenes) is out. Our existing rules relating to things like slash fic still apply so please take a moment to review the rules before posting new fics.
We have unpublished a few of the fics but authors should still be able to access them in case they want to back them up to post on another site. If your fic was unpublished and you'd like to edit it and resubmit just send us an email when you're done.
We are aware this decision may not be popular with some but we feel it is a step we need to take. We hope you will all continue to enjoy reading and writing fic on this site.
You can review the submission rules here.
If you read a fic on the site that you feel is in breech of the rules please use the "Report" function to bring it to our attention so we can review it and take action if we feel it is necessary.

We discovered today there's been an issue over the last week or so with new authors being unable to successfully post fics to the site. After a bit of troubleshooting we have discovered the cause and fixed this problem and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Any users experiencing problems with this site should contact us using the contact link at the bottom of the page, if you don't let us know there's a problem we won't know to look into it.
Thanks,
Admin.

Unfortunately today due to some server issues we had to restore the site from yesterday's backup . If you posted a fic in the last 24 hours it may have been lost in the restore and you'll have to load it again.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Our 100th fic was posted by Nalissa2 titled Prelude To Ever After
I'll send Nalissa2 an OCD sticker for being #100

We're still working on the mobile layout but we've made some other changes to the site that I hope will make things easier for you.
We've removed the "Most Recent" posts from the front page and added a new page for them which will list all the new stories posted in the past 7 days. You'll find a link to this in the top menu.

With the launch of the site going so well (nearly 80 people signed up in less than a day) I've been thinking about how I can make the Castle fanfic site even better.
One of the things I'm considering is adding a layout specifically for mobilie users (ie, iPhones & iPods etc). Is this something people are interested in?

I think the timing is great with the break coming up before season 3 begins so let's see how this goes.
We're sure to have many teething problems so I ask for your patience, and more importantly, your feedback as we get things started.
